Charles the Bold
Attracting 200,000 visitors
Big in Belgium
Charles the Bold and his Burgunder Beute. It was probably the most prestigious exhibition in Belgium in 2009 (not counting Sam Dillemans in the Napelsstraat, maybe).
The museum wanted to attract a lot of visitors, say 200,000. Of course we thought our ideas and design were strong, but we also pre-tested and fine-tuned all our work in line with the test results.
Just to make absolutely sure the museum would hit its target.
That's what counts.

Congratulations! You are the 200,000th visitor!
We built our communication around the exhibition website and deployed specific content and communication plans for every type of visitor. There was postering, folder distribution, stickering, ‘street’ communication, direct mail, e-mailings … We did the lot. The effort paid off: we counted more than 200,000 visitors. For an exhibition. Was it just the campaign that got the result? Well, the expo wazzz nice, we have to admit. But we made sure people in Paris knew about it.
