Acco is a publishing house, various bookshops and a printing office. Our job is to build different websites with online shops and interactive tools.
For the publishing house, we created an online catalogue with a web shop and for the bookshop, an informative website to attract people to the shops. Doctors and medical students purchase their professional literature on the medical bookshop’s website. The Acco company has its own, separate website. They are all made on Openmercury.

Acco is firmly committed to selling online. The publishing house and medical bookshop are equipped with an extensive catalogue as well as a web shop. The publishing house’s web shop gets all available books from Centric Bestmate and publishes them online. The integration with Bestmate is completely automatic. As a result, the catalogue is always up to date and contains the correct prices and information on stock availability.
e-Commerce doesn’t work without eMarketing. The web shops signal products that are often purchased together and Acco also puts a selection of books in the spotlight. Visitors to the Acco websites can set up a profile and indicate their preferences. With this information, we send them targeted e-mailings. Together with Acco, we then carefully follow up these mailings and their ROI using Google Analytics. And we saw that it was good.
